The 1980s may not seem to offer much more than acid wash jeans, leg warmers and shoulder pads, but the decade actually ushered in monumental advances in computing, home entertainment and telecommunications. Sometimes, though, these advances weren't always pretty to look at, like those original "brick" cell phones. And then, there are things like the keytar.
